This is a Guaba, an arachnid with a feisty attitude, that lives in dark places and caves.

A turkish vulture hovering over the Toa Vaca dam just between Juana Diaz and Villalba and in the back the south central mountains of the island.

at the end to the left

This is us inside the cave, crawling on the floor all the way throught to next chamber. These little tunnels are about two feet tall and about 90ft long in an angle shape. This is cueva Lucero "morning star cave". At the next chamber you can appreciate original taino symbols carved on the wall.

This is an amazing place in the southern town of Puerto Rico, Juana Diaz.

A baby coqui, in the backyard of my friend's house. You can see through his skin part of his interiors.

san pedrito

a challenging picture to achieve. a shy san pedrito (as from my point of view) had being playing hard to get, until i had a window of opportunity and took this shot. he was at least 60ft away into the canopy of the trees. this is an endemic specie in the island. notice the distinctive red feathered beard.
